Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Expert

Location: Plymouth, MI

Job Type: Full-Time

Introduction: Quantum Compliance, a leading provider of EHS software solutions, seeks an experienced EHS Expert to join our innovative team. This role is pivotal for enhancing our software offerings and providing expert consulting services to our clients. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with extensive knowledge of EHS regulations and a passion for leveraging technology to solve complex safety and environmental challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the in-house EHS subject matter expert to guide the development and enhancement of our EHS software products.
  • Provide consulting services to clients, helping them to implement and optimize EHS programs through our software solutions.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor EHS strategies that enhance compliance with OSHA and other regulatory bodies.
  • Write, edit, and contribute to newsletters and other content that positions our company as a thought leader in the EHS field.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to ensure that our software meets the highest standards of regulatory compliance and user experience.
  • Offer training and support to both clients and internal teams, enhancing their understanding and effective use of our software.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in technology that impact EHS practices.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record as an EHS expert, preferably with experience in a technology-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of EHS regulations, compliance management, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and accessible manner.
  • Experience in creating and leading EHS training programs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
