The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) launched an online chemical safety database as a free reference site to inform the public of chemical safety and health information for workers and the community. This database, called ChemView, is intended to improve access of chemical data for those operating under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA).

The website has made updates to improve the display and content for their Chemical Data Reporting Information, covering nearly 10,000 chemicals. Consent orders and new chemical Significant New Use Rules (SNURs) have now been added. Pollution Prevention Information is provided under the Toxic Release Inventory Program. Furthermore, templates for data are organized by the date submitted, EPA assessments, EPA actions, Manufacturing, Processing Use and Release Data. A survey is now available to provide feedback and suggest improvements for further updates.

ChemView isIPA molecular structure always changing as new chemical discoveries and updates are made. The EPA will continue to add chemicals, data, assessments, functions, and source document links to ChemView.
