This notice is to inform Quantum’s customers, resellers and prospective customers that the FacTS™ Windows interface product is not directly affected by this schedule change. FacTS™ pulls the date/time from the operating system of the server on which it isinstalled. Provided the server’s operating system supports the new DST schedule, FacTS™ will use the correct date/time stamps.

The FacTS™ web applications doesn’t have any hard coded dates but the Java JDK/JRE used includes a formula for calculating the day light savings date rather than pulling from the operating system. Our web customers need to confirm the JDK/JRE version on the server FacTS™ is installed are:

  • 5.0_7, or later
