Connecting to Advance Safety
Hey, Indiana! Last week we had the privilege of attending the Indiana Safety and Health Conference & Expo. It was great to be able to meet EHS professionals from a broad spectrum of responsibilities and dive deep into their concerns. These conversations help us learn what the needs are in the field and how we can tune our offering to better serve both frontline team members and managers to ensure safety and ensure compliance.
Terry Crews – Keynote
Terry Crews, the keynote, opened up the conference with his trademark energy, transparency and concern for the well-being of all, particularly on this occasion, for those involved in safety. His emphasis on the impact of mental health on safety was insightful. Particularly bringing forward issues early on and not staying silent about what’s going on with us. As he concluded we looked at each other and knew that we may not have been NFL players or Hollywood actors like Terry, but we can all succeed as we work to support one another to stay mentally healthy, share our concerns, and as a result be safer and healthier on the job and at home.
Interest at Booth 142!
And, of course, we had lots of interaction at our booth, #142. We loved sharing about our product and seeing the light bulbs come on in potential users as they realized how our software platform can reduce the complexity of compliance and offer a great ROI.
There was particular interest in our Training & Certificate Management module and our robust offering in live training through our partner the National Safety Education Center at (NSEC) at Northern Illinois University. Ahmad Olagunju was present for NSEC to highlight its live training and certification offerings. This partnership allows us to offer our customers a complete training offering. And it’s always fun to be with Ahmad and enjoy his winning personality!
Another key inquiry was “What are you doing with AI?”
Right now, we’re using AI in our Inspection and Incident modules to:
- Report using voice
- Generate descriptions
- Suggest corrective actions

And of course, MAX, was there, your Quantum safety mascot. Here’s his take on the conference.
