Ohio Safety Congress & Expo 2026

Connecting at OSC26

Last week, we had the privilege of exhibiting at the 2026 Ohio Safety Congress & Expo. It was a great opportunity to connect with EHS professionals from a wide range of industries and hear more about the challenges, priorities, and goals shaping their work today.

The event itself is designed to bring together safety professionals to share knowledge, explore solutions, and connect with industry leaders, and that spirit came through clearly throughout the conference.

Strengthen safety and compliance practically, and sustainably.

One theme we felt throughout the conference was the ongoing need to strengthen safety and compliance in practical, sustainable ways.

From conversations in sessions to discussions on the show floor, there was a clear focus on building systems that help organizations stay organized, reduce risk, and support safer workplaces without adding unnecessary complexity. That made the event especially valuable for us, because those are the same kinds of challenges we work to help solve every day. This emphasis on practical learning and useful solutions fits the conference’s broader purpose of helping attendees stay ahead, enhance expertise, and connect with resources that support safer operations.

Keynote – Garrison Wynn’s

One of the standout moments of the conference was the keynote from Garrison Wynn, “Influencing Safety: What the Most Successful Do Differently,” presented on Wednesday, March 11, at 9:30 a.m.

His message reinforced an important idea: safety practices are more likely to stick when leaders build the kind of influence, trust, and engagement that help people take safety seriously in their day-to-day work. The keynote description emphasized leadership, employee engagement, and psychological safety, all in the context of creating a culture of safety while maintaining productivity.

What stood out to us most was the reminder that strong safety programs are not built on process alone. They also depend on communication, consistency, and the ability to create buy-in across teams.

What EHS Leaders Shared…

On the show floor, we had the opportunity to speak with EHS professionals focused on strengthening safety and compliance in their organizations.

Those conversations reflected the real priorities teams are managing every day. People are looking for better ways to keep programs organized, simplify reporting, stay ahead of compliance requirements, and build systems that support both frontline employees and leadership.

Exploring Quantum’s AI-Powered EHS Tools

We had some great conversations around how organizations are looking for ways to simplify safety management while still improving visibility, consistency, and follow-through. There was real interest in how AI can support EHS work in practical ways, especially when it helps reduce administrative burden without removing human judgment from the process.

Leveraging AI to Build a Data-Driven EHS Culture

Another big takeaway from the event was how much interest there is in using technology to make EHS work more efficiently, more connected, and more actionable.

That is exactly why we encourage you to read our article, Leveraging AI to Build a Data-Driven EHS Culture. It takes a closer look at how AI can support inspections, incident reporting, chemical management, and other EHS workflows when it is designed to work inside the system of record and support human review instead of replacing it. The article also explains why the real goal is not automation for its own sake, but making safety data easier to use in ways that drive action and strengthen accountability.
